The Great Plains Dulcimer Alliance is a nonprofit organization founded in 1982 in Wichita, Kansas. The focus of the club is to learn and teach folks how to play Traditional folk music on Hammered and Mountain Dulcimers. Other acoustic instruments are welcome as well. We have monthly meetings with free workshops and offer special workshops, concerts and performance opportunities. Membership is open to all age groups interested in learning to play Hammered or Mountain Dulcimer or any other acoustic instrument in a Traditional Folk music environment. All are invited to bring your acoustic instrument and join us. |
